The Deer Park Community Association, in conjunction with the Town of Babylon and Vision Long Island, is helping organize a revitalization effort here in Deer Park. We are seeking community input to help formalize a short-term and long-term plan that will ensure Deer Park continues to remain both an attractive and enjoyable place to live. We are particularly interested in hearing from the commercial property and business owners, as well as our residents.

Our vision includes the beautification of Deer Park Avenue and Commack Road with the hopes of transforming Long Island Avenue (initially between Deer Park Avenue and Nicolls Road) into a “main street.” We want to hear everyone’s thoughts, suggestions and concerns regarding this revitalization effort, including the location and what it should comprise (e.g., adequate parking, mixed-use buildings, etc.).
